POWER TO INSPIRE – VOL. 01

Born on the picturesque island of Saint Lucia, Emrand Henry affectionately known as the “Fyah Man” has become one of the most electrifying voices in Caribbean gospel music today. From his Caribbean roots to international stages, Emrand’s journey is one fueled by faith, family, and fire. Now based in the United States, Emrand continues to ignite hearts and stages alike with his signature blend of energy, passion, and prophetic anointing. Yet, behind the bright lights and rhythmic beats lies a deeply humble soul a devoted husband, proud father of two beautiful daughters, and a steadfast servant of God.
Emrand’s musical style transcends borders and genres. His songs are not just melodies, they’re ministries. Known for his versatility, he blends gospel with reggae, soca, zouk and contemporary sounds that connect across cultures. Crowds can’t help but move when he performs hits like “Cah Block It” and “Energy,” both anthems that embody his spiritual boldness and joy.
Whether he’s leading worship on a quiet Sunday morning or dancing across a massive stage, one thing remains clear: Emrand carries a divine spark. His ministry isn’t
performance it’s revelation. With every note, he ushers in a tangible sense of God’s presence.

A CALLING FROM YOUTH
The call to minister came early. “At just fifteen,”Emrand recalls, “I knew I was born to be a gospel minister.” Back in Saint Lucia, he began leading worship and writing songs that stirred hearts in crusades and community concerts. That same “fire” still burns today, stronger than ever. Emrand recalled his first big moment came when he emerged the Star Quest winner in 2003. His life now reflects a rhythm of discipline and devotion. “I spend two days a week in prayer and fasting,” he explains. “The Holy Spirit inspires every song and sermon. Everything must be rooted in truth and purpose.”
Faith shapes everything he does. “It’s taught me to trust God, even when I can’t trace Him,” Emrand says. That trust keeps him grounded through challenges whether facing industry setbacks or balancing ministry and family life. And at the center of that family is his wife, his biggest inspiration. “She embodies strength and resilience,” he shares. “She’s a praying woman—the glue that holds us together. Her faith inspires me daily.” For Emrand, fatherhood is also ministry. “My daughters motivate me to keep
going,” he says. “I want them to see a man of faith, consistency, and courage.”
When asked what advice he would give his younger self, Emrand responded, “God will never fail you. Where you start isn’t where you’ll finish. Work hard, never limit yourself, and be discerning, not everyone around you is for you.” He’s faced moments of disappointments. He said “I once traveled to an island for a performance, but on the day of the event no one came to pick me until very late. When I was finally picked up, I found out that my set had been reduced from 30 minutes to five minutes.” But even then, he chose forgiveness and growth. “It made me stronger and more resilient,” he says. “Adversity fuels my fire.” And through it all, his mission remains clear: “To spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to this broken generation through preaching, singing, and reminding people who they truly are in God.”

Emrand Henry is more than an artist; he’s a vessel. Every stage, every note, every journey is part of a greater mission to ignite hearts, break chains, and carry the flame of
purpose wherever he goes. As the “Fyah Man” continues to blaze trails around the world, one thing is undeniable, his fire is not of this world; it’s divine.
